Col'Attitude 2026: climbing the Vosges passes by bike

Col'Attitude returns this summer to offer cycling enthusiasts a unique experience in the Vosges: climbing the most beautiful Vosges passes on roads temporarily closed to motorised traffic. Whether you're a road cyclist, mountain biker or electric bike enthusiast, the event is open to all, and gives you the chance to cycle in complete freedom, without a time limit or registration, in an unspoilt natural setting.

A unique cycling experience in the Vosges for visitors to Alsace

Col'Attitude is designed to be an accessible experience for all cyclists. The roads of the Vosges passes are safe and reserved for non-motorised two-wheelers during the event, allowing you to take full advantage of nature and the Vosges panorama, far from the stress of traffic.

How to take part in Col'Attitude 2026 from your gîte in Alsace

If you're staying at the Gîte de la Longère des Capucines in Alsace, taking part in Col Attitude is easy:

  • Meet in the morning at the climb sites (between 8am and 12pm).
  • Bring your bike and your good humour.
  • No prior registration is necessary.

This is a great opportunity to combine a holiday in Alsace with a sporting challenge in the Vosges, around 1h15-1h45 by car from the gîte.

Roads reserved for cyclists and safe climbs

  • The roads leading to the passes are closed to motorised traffic during the event.
  • Open to all types of bikes: road, mountain, gravel and electric.
  • Drive in the right direction, at moderate speed and with caution on narrow sections.

The event is designed to ensure the safety and peace of mind of all participants, including families.

Rewards and digital follow-up for each participant

For Col'Attitude 2026, a QR code system will be used to validate participation in each pass and track points in real time.

The 150 cyclists with the most points will receive prizes:

  • 1st to 50th: polka dot jersey
  • 51st to 100th: Col'Attitude cap
  • 101st to 150th: Col'Attitude water bottle

This digital system means that no physical notebooks are lost, and makes it easier for all participants to keep track of their progress.

Practical advice for enjoying Col'Attitude in complete safety

To make the most of your day:

  • Recommended equipment: helmets compulsory for children, strongly recommended for adults, water, suitable clothing and repair kit.
  • Respect and courtesy: drive on the right, avoid overtaking two abreast and keep your speed moderate.

A charming cottage in a quiet village, very well located on the Wine Route and a stone's throw from Guebwiller. The accommodation is very well equipped and impeccably clean. The private outdoor areas add greatly to the magic of the place... and are a real bonus in summer.

The flat is tastefully furnished and decorated and, of course, very clean. Sylvie Giertler is a wonderful and very friendly hostess. We felt very comfortable.
